Publication Process
AGRINOVA: Jurnal Inovasi Agribisnis implements a structured and professional publication workflow to ensure the quality and integrity of each published article. The estimated time from submission to final publication is approximately 8–12 weeks, depending on the revision process.
The following are the stages of the publication process:
1. Submission Reception
Authors submit their original manuscripts through the OJS portal. The Editorial Office performs an initial screening for administrative completeness, template compliance, and plagiarism checks (using Turnitin or similar tools).
2. Editorial Desk Review
The Section Editor evaluates the manuscript based on its alignment with the Focus and Scope and its potential contribution to the field of agribusiness. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s standards or basic requirements will be declined at this stage.
3. Double-Blind Peer Review
Eligible manuscripts are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The identity of both the authors and the reviewers remains anonymous throughout the process. Reviewers assess the scientific quality, methodology, and relevance of the research.
4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief makes one of the following decisions:
-
Accept Submission (Ready for production)
-
Revisions Required (Author must address specific points)
-
Resubmit for Review (Significant changes needed followed by another review)
-
Decline Submission (The manuscript is not suitable for publication)
5. Copyediting and Layout
Once accepted, the manuscript undergoes the copyediting process to correct grammatical errors and ensure clarity. The layout editor then prepares the final "galley" version of the article according to the AGRINOVA style guide.
6. Final Production and Publication
The author performs a final proofreading check of the galley. Once approved, the article is assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) and officially published in the scheduled issue (June or December).
