Author Guidelines

AGRINOVA: Jurnal Inovasi Agribisnis invites authors to submit original research articles, systematic reviews, and case studies that contribute to the development of agribusiness and agricultural innovation. Submissions must be made through the OJS portal and adhere to the following guidelines:

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

  • The work must be original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not currently under consideration by another journal.

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

  • The length of the manuscript should be between 4,000 to 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

2. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should follow the IMRaD (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) structure:

  • Title: Concise, informative, and reflective of the research content (max 15 words).

  • Author(s): Full name(s) without titles, institutional affiliation, and corresponding author’s email.

  • Abstract: A single paragraph (150–250 words) summarizing the background, objectives, methods, key results, and conclusion.

  • Keywords: 3 to 5 words or phrases, separated by semicolons.

  • Introduction: Research background, problem statement, literature review, and the objective of the study.

  • Methods: Clear description of the research design, data collection, and analysis techniques.

  • Results and Discussion: Presenting findings clearly using tables or figures, followed by a critical discussion linking results to existing theories or previous studies.

  • Conclusion: Summary of findings and their implications for the agribusiness sector or policy.

  • References: Minimum of 15–20 references, with at least 80% from primary sources (journal articles) published within the last 10 years.

3. Formatting and Style

  • Citation Style: Authors must use the APA Style (7th Edition) for citations and references.

  • Reference Manager: We strongly recommend using reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

  • Tables and Figures: Should be numbered consecutively and cited in the text. Captions for tables are placed above, while captions for figures are placed below.

4. Plagiarism Policy

Every manuscript submitted to AGRINOVA will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin. The maximum allowed similarity index is 25%.
