Archiving Policy
AGRINOVA: Jurnal Inovasi Agribisnis is committed to the long-term preservation of its digital content. To ensure that all published articles remain permanently accessible and usable, the journal implements the following archiving strategies:
1. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
AGRINOVA utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve the journal's content. The PKP PN creates a decentralized archiving system among participating libraries, ensuring that the journal's digital archives are safe and can be restored in the event of a catastrophic system failure or if the journal ceases publication.
2. LOCKSS & CLOCKSS
This journal uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. These systems allow these libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
3. Institutional Repository
As part of the Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Muhammadiyah Polewali Mandar (ITBM Polman), all published issues and articles are also backed up and archived within the university's internal digital repository system managed by the Center for Information and Communication Technology (UPT TIK).
4. Self-Archiving
Authors are encouraged to self-archive their published articles in their own institutional repositories, personal websites, or other academic social networks (such as ResearchGate or Academia.edu) to increase the visibility and impact of their research.
